Reservation

We request a down payment of 50% for any reservation (rooms).

Reservation fee might be more in case transfer services, ferry tickets etc. are included.

Apart from the rainy season, our climate is very stable and we do usually have almost perfect conditions for diving all year long. Our recommended dive season is October to June, but diving is also possible in the low season (July, August, September).

We are open all year round (12 months/year) during our main season and low season.

Traveling

You are lucky because traveling to us is becoming easier every year.

As of today, you have a number of options that we have listed in our Travel Guide. Recommended is a flight to Tablas Airport (TBH) or traveling with the Starlite ferry. For further and more detailed information about our custom pickup services at Manila Airport, Tablas Airport or the Port of Romblon, please get in touch with us via Mail or Social Media.

As explained in our Travel Guide, you have plenty of possibilities to get here. Recommended are a flight to Tablas or taking the 2GO Travel ferry.

Currently the fastest route goes via plane to Tugdan Airport in Tablas (Romblon) where we have our custom pickup service waiting for our guests upon arrival. Alternatively we can also arrange for your private transportation from Manila to our resort via van and ferry. Please also contact us so we can choose the best travel options for you together.

No matter how you plan on coming, please remember to let us know where and when you want to be picked up by our team.

Depending on your home country you might need to apply for a visa. However for a large number of countries there’s no need to apply for a visa, if your stay in the Philippines does not exceed 30 days. Please check the website of the Philippine Embassy for further details.

Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival with at least two blank pages for stamps.

Yes. Romblon Island is a perfectly safe place for all tourists. Locals are very friendly here and the island is not yet spoiled.

Diving

Most of our dive sites are only 5 to 25 minutes away from the resort. But we also offer special trips to dive sites further out like the Blue Hole, Agpanabat and the surrounding islands.

Our most famous critters including Pontohi pygmy seahorse, Melibe colemani, Butterfly seaslugs (Cyerce species), Pughead Pipefish and many more can be found all year round – during our main season and low season.

We offer up to 4 guided dives daily:

  • a morning tour (2 dives)
  • a 3rd dive in the afternoon
  • sunset dive, night dive or Blackwater dives

Yes you can. We offer private spotter service/photo assistance and also private boats upon availability.

We offer special diving packages for UW photographers:

Classic 4/1 – 4 divers/UW photographers and 1 guide/spotter

Superior 2/1 – 2 divers/UW photographers and 1 guide/spotter

Professional 1/1 – 1 diver/UW photographer and 1 guide/spotter (private spotter service)

There is usually no need to bring an adapter. All our aluminum tank outlets are equipped with DIN or INT connections, but we also have enough adapters for regulators, if needed.

Currently Nitrox is not available, but many guests mention that they can easily dive without it as most of our dive sites are quite shallow and underwater currents are rare.

Yes we do.

We are offering Blackwater diving for more than three years now and the footage (such as this rainbow colored Blanket Octopus that was filmed by one of our guests) and positive feedback we received so far is simply amazing and truly speaks for itself. The standard voltage is 220 V in the Philippines (the frequency is 60 Hz). Your appliances are suitable for usage in the Philippines, if the standard voltage in your home country is in between 220 and 240 V (Europe, United Kingdom, Australia and most of Asia and Africa).

We recommend to buy a SMART or GLOBE SIM card. Both work fine on Romblon Island and the area around.

You can easily convert the balance on your phone (LOAD) to an internet package in case you want to use internet when you are out for diving and not at the resort.

COVID-19

 

As of now, you can travel to the Philippines and Romblon Island perfectly fine.

Most travelers (depending on country of origin) will receive a Visa on Arrival valid for 30 days.

Necessary Documents

For fully vaccinated tourists: 

“present any off the following proofs of vaccination:
– WHO International Certificates of Vaccination and Prophylaxis
– VaxCertPH for balikbayans who had their COVID-19 vaccination in the Philippines
– National/State manual/digital vaccination certificates of a foreign government
– Other proof of vaccination

*except for children below 15 years old, who will follow the protocol for the accompanying parent or guardian”

For unvaccinated tourists: 

“Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated foreign nationals fifteen years old and above shall present a remotely supervised or a laboratory-based rapid antigen negative test result, failure to present the said pre-departure test shall be required to undergo a laboratory-based rapid antigen test taken upon arrival.”

Passports have to be valid at least 6 months upon arrival
