The Bubble Coral Shrimp (Vir philippinensis) is a marine shrimp species that was first described in 1984. They are found from the Red Sea to the Indo-Pacific including Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines. This shrimp is nearly transparent and has purplish or bluish lines while hiding within the pseudo-tentacles of the Bubble Coral.
