from Manila to Romblon via Lucena

When planning your trip to Romblon Island, consider the Starhorse Ferry as an alternative to the Starlite Ferry, especially on days when the Starlite is unavailable. While the Starhorse Ferry does not offer private cabins, it provides other sleeping options to suit your needs. We recommend a bed in the air-conditioned sleeping area, allowing you to rest comfortably. We can arrange a driver to pick you up from Manila, Anilao, or Batangas and take you directly to Lucena Port. The Starhorse Ferry departs daily at 4:00 PM, arriving in Romblon the following morning so you can start your island adventure refreshed and ready.

  • Tourist Class Bunk Beds: These bunk beds are located in a dormitory-style sleeping area. They are air-conditioned and have shared bathrooms.

  • Reclining Seat: This is the most basic type of accommodation on the ferry. It is a reclining seat in a large open area.

Latest recommended pick-up times:

Manila: 10:30 AM

Anilao: 11:30 AM

Your driver will take you to the terminal building in Lucena. This will take around 3.5 hours (depending on the traffic situation). In the terminal building you can wait to board the ferry. Boarding usually starts 1 hour prior to departure. As far as we know, luggage weight allowance is not limited. Porter service is available– please bring small cash tips for the porters.

Starhorse Ferry schedule:

Departure from Lucena (daily): 4:00 PM

Arrival in Romblon (daily): 6:00 AM (on the following day)

Our guests are picked up at Romblon Pier upon arrival. The drive to our resort takes about 15 minutes.
