The Harlequin Shrimp (Hymenocera picta) is a beautiful decapod crustacean. They are an outstanding subject for underwater macro photography as they display large light blue to purple spots, which make them look more like a blossoming flower than a shrimp. They can often be observed near their starfish pray.
